I was wondering if there is any news or intelligence available, NOT ABOUT the gold pour but the gold mining/extraction that requires mining activity.

I expect digging up wads of GOLD would be the stuff of gossip around the local area, no? Or are we in a war? Where loose lips sink gold mines? Hardly.

But don't ask me. I don't understand Qld. hillbilly lingo. Though strangly enough I have met a few Brisbanites who have been brought up with plumbs in their mouth.

But one thing they don't ever put in their mouths is Thai food laced (as it should be) with chilli. Went to the best Thai restaurant in Gold Coast and had to ask them to take the meals back and add the chilli.

It was a great looking restaurant but they were so surprised an Australian would want chilli added. Korath Restaurant, Kangaroo Point. But I'm from Sydeny I said.

But I loved the 40 cents/half hour parking meters. Rather than the $4.00 they slug us here because we're so imprtant I guess.
