Japan has refused to follow the US-NATO 'severing' of oil and gas with Russia.
India now buys much of the Russian oil, refines it, and then sells it to Europe, plus their markup.
The Indians are happy, and NATO gets to keep their pride.
Apparently the price of walking away from their oil/gas investments is too high for Japan, and Russia has allowed Japan to retain its stake in Sakhalin. Will the US allow this situation to continue, or do we get a regime-change in Tokyo??
