    By all means email the company. However, they won't tell you anything that's not already out there or information of a price sensitive nature. I typically ask technical questions which go beyond company announcements and doesn't contravene laws governing directors.

    I've found though, if enough shareholders ask the same question (in this case "how is the company tracking on production with the new contractor?"), they know they can't tell you directly, but they'll get the message and will more than likely make a price sensitive announcement.
