I am still amazed at the response of ASX investors to the fall in $US of gold without reference to the $AUD price.
On 12 Sept 2016 gold fell in $US from $1337.26 to $1,327.69 and the gold sector fell.
But in $AUD the price actually rose from $AUD1,750.80 to $AUD1,760.16.
Same thing happened overnight.
Gold fell from $US1,328.11 to $US1,318.48, BUT rose in $AUD from $1760.72 to $1,766.45.
I can't believe that Aussie investors are that ignorant!
