funny you ask squire - I got a call from magpie this arvo, offered me some duck eggs from his country retreat down south at Brookhampton, also the chestnuts are just kicking in down there too but too much like hard work I reckon so declined them and accepted the cackleberries. Better yet he has some quinces for me so they will become jam by the weekend when I take delivery - will post you a jar squire?

he said not to worry, wont be going into VA tomorrow, things will be sorted as the BoD wont want a few of those top 20 holders being cranky with them for ever, some seriously well connected heavy hitters he said, whom you dont want to upset...

mind you, magpie said the deal might not be too flash but at least it should get the monkey off the back, for the time being
