Maybe powell should go talk to Carney about how USA could fix the issue, but i am sure he knows. As humpty does not listen it is hard for him to advise. No matter what the outcome, humpty will not accept responsibilty and blame anyone else. If powell leaves he will blame him for being too conservative (taking too long). If he stays and relents then he will be blamed for leaving it too long, he cannot win.
How will it play out, probably powell will resign and a new maga fed governor will take the reigns and blame powell if it doesnt work.
