re: gold price sensitive - aussie stocks
G'day Champ You said "primarily the movement in the USD down v AUD" as a dangerous thing for aussie golds. This is something I have thought of in the past re values of gold stocks. However the values of stocks seems to follow the $US gold price. I think this is because of the perceived snowball effect in a price rise of gold. To my understanding, so many people have investments in $US that when gold seriosly goes up (and $US down) their will be a huge demand for gold pushing it up in all currencys. Not to mention the various derivatives and fund triggers Cheers Rod Just my novice thoughts
