Gold price, page-10918

I am amazed at the huge buying, who is buying these tens of millions of shares.
I noticed on the day the company started trading after the halt that the buying was very thin on opening until Asia came in via the CXA. Is this China trying to buy the company?
The prospect of there now being a hostile takeover may now have become a reality given there has been another 150,000,000 more shares available. Holding a companies SP to a certain level has been a trait of some Chinese hostile takeover that I have seen in the past and has gone on for years.
