The US is very much bound by foreign trade like every other country that is successful.
Why do you think Obama was in a panic about the US free trade deals with Asia.
The EU is the US biggest trading partner.
Even Trump has said he wants the US dollar lower because it is damaging trade.

I guess the US govt will now order the FED to print more money and then pay the fed interest on that money.
They are paying interest on all that QE to the FED with the treasury in their as well.
The people are paying it and very soon the debt ceiling will be raised again and more money printed to pay the FED for the interest on the last lot of printing and forever enslaving the people in perpetuity.
