After the Q3 report, I emailed SJ to enquire on the progress of the power grid development, and a few other matters as well.
His reply was prompt and courteous. In brief, the initial step up from 1M to 5M remained on track to be realised mid-year. The second stage to get from 5M to 12M (or even beyond) required more work on transformers, insulators, etc. Targeted full effect to be achieved mid-2018. No news means all is progressing as planned, I would believe.
As it's mid-year, the energy costs savings should kick off; together with the USD-BRL exchange rate advantage of 3.31. Still below the forecast and budgeted 3.4, though. Cheers. R.
