IMO and after reading how G.S. made a big profit last year I think it is G.S. in Japan that is taking down POG during Asian hours and then passing off to G.S. in the US to carry on at night.

IMO the RBA is active in the aud market and the ASX saving the ASX on a daily market.
Probably aided by allied banks and brokers. Similar to what the US does.

When you think about it, there is some precursor to this as we are now a US military outpost and our Politicians are sycophants of the US. Whatever the US does our Politicians fall in line immediately.

I think we have seen the beginning of US rule in Australia.
