What is so important PMI showed strong USA economy, yet gold is up, US dollar is down and Dow after initial spike to more than 100 point, it failed to maintain the momentum and that is in my opinion for the following reasons:
The DOW has reached a point of silly over valuations for most of the stocks.

Strong economy is not taking away the massive debts , ,inflationary budget and inflation is the elephant in the rooms.

Gold has broken the strong $1300 level on a background of bitcoin correction, a sell off from Chinese investors and money moving into the real safe haven, assisted by a sell off in the US dollar.

Strong economy will put pressure on wage increase to the upside, hence increase inflation and we know what does that to gold.

@ Flaming, I am not silly to compare BDR to Ocean Gold, but my theory will be proven today. Both of them were deeply in the red and from my observation over the last few months, every time they do that, gold is up that night and the losses get recouped the next day. I was commenting on the fact that a sell off is not a debatable point by others that capital raising is a fact.

I do hold three million shares plus in BDR in my combined portfolio and there is no need for me to say otherwise.

As far as life of mine is concerned, new exploration will help to enhance mine life to almost 20 years. which is pretty good for any mining company,
