I am sorry to read your post. my last experience is MML in 2013 I recall, bought at $4.50 and initially had a handsome gain on paper then decided I knew where price was going and held on. I am still holding onto that DOG, year of the Dog so maybe it will finally turn? The only consolation is that I took a toe dip so if I lose the lot, it will hurt but not detrimental.
Since then I stopped wearing big loss or gigantic positions because markets have a habit of proving me wrong a lot of the time. Murphy's law kicks in usually when I sell for a decent profit and it keeps giving without me! I hope you recover your loss.
