Wish I could see it too, atomic, but that ability is not meant for me.
I continue asking myself why there is an assumption that for pog to soar to new heights, currencies have to fail. Must gold and currencies be at war like there's all this bad blood between them? Maybe there's no bad blood, maybe it's just more manipulation of mass perception.
Wasn't there a time when gold and currencies did collaborate quite well, until CBs decided to spin their fiat currency for public consumption? The CBs could always eat humble pie and revert to the gold standard. I believe that they have the ingenuity to develop a practical financial and economic model to support the gold standard. Question is whether there is political will to eat that unsavoury pie for the betterment of all citizenry.
