Amazing moves last night though, how was that. HUI, GDX and GDXJ rocketed with neutral POG movements. Seems to be pretty widespread sentiment that this is a buy opportunity for those that missed out on the full run so far. Lots of eyes on gold, has held pretty firm given USD strength.
@V* another reason I came across for a higher USD is currency movement into the US with demand for the bonds as yields rise, particularly given the negative rates being seen in other parts of the world. To my mind this may have some minor leveling effect on bond yields as well as demand will provide at least some offset to the Fed selling.
