I think it would certainly help with any bids. DEG is yet to move in any meaningful way with the rise in POG, all the while producers are seeing some of their best cash flows in recent years. The environment couldn't be better for them.
Perhaps the EPA approval is holding things back, who knows, but the odds of a further climb in gold or a high level consolidation is increasing significantly. Rate cut expectation for September is now almost 100%, and 3 are favoured for this year.
Early this year a few gold bulls were hoping for $2500 by EOFY25... today it's just $30 shy of it.
I think it would certainly help with any bids. DEG is yet to...
