Gold up overnight again ,up about 10$ us an ounce.
Larry fink (ceo of blackrock who made about 750 million last year) is on record today as saying the principle focus of Blackrock is Bitcoin and says gold is a lousy investment.quite apparent he is correct if you look at the numbers.Cryptos are clearly taking investment money away from gold.
Another takeover in the gold sector announced yesterday Argonaut taken out for 400 million US ,they have several mines but one principle one in Nevada and got into financial difficulties developing the second one in Ontario near Wawa .The mine is built but problems (which will take more money and time )developed getting the mine to peak performance after build out was complete .They have 10 million ounces and will have two producing mines ,the new one will be able to be expanded .Argo,s price fell it became cheap and got taken out .Basic cause is they were running out of cash trying to develop a mine.It happens all the time.
