I like the thought of the CDG mining empire. I am also very happy with the progress of CDG. The activities report signalled more ounces at premier and also a planned doubling of throughput with ore from O'Capitao. It would be unusual to modify a plant and milling machine without being reasonably confident of having enough gold there to support this. I would suggest a resource from that tenement is probably not far away as drilling was due to be completed by early first quarter.
Initial plant was planned for 20000oz pa. Forecast costs of around $300/oz. this leaves a tidy profit to develop and explore (it is a 50/50 JV)
I agree a move to production will push SP north and look forward to upcoming announcements. Also hoping for JORC resource on iron ore in Amapa which would push SP well past magical $1
