I have done a fair bit of detecting, but not much in Vic.

However the hot area lately seems to be up around Dunolly. Two big nuggets found in that area in recent weeks.

I went to the Talbot State Forest about a month ago and spent two full days for zilch. The ground is well worked over.....

But ehard enough stories it is still there for the diligent.
