Intec didn't say it's not recoverable, they just said "it's not worth it".
Intec have consistently stated that their plan is to pursue projects that would provide the best return to shareholders. The Metals Recycling Project has been chosen strategically because management have evaluated their options and decided it is the best project for them to go after. In other words the opportunity to extract gold out of the Hellyer tailings is not a priority at this stage.
