Vote NO to Upper Case rants - this SLR vote can't come soon enough - the idea that a deal recommended by the BOD's (after consulting major shareholders) will be overturned by small SH's, is unlikely, but may happen .... but be careful what you wish for.
SLR flying solo doesn't appear to be the optimal strategy according to SLR's BOD, which has been trying to engineer M&A for the better part of 2yrs.
RED(KOTH) seems to part of every analysts end game for Leonora consolidation ... so how long RED would remain single after a bust up with SLR is anyone's guess.
If the RED-SLR merger completes, I think the cool heads at GMD & RED will have a friendly business like merger that mimics NST- SAR merger forming big NST.
It would be pointless for RED and GMD to artificially inflate asset values in Leonora, just to achieve the biggest 'di#k' - that would be the equivalent of a pyrrhic victory IMHO.
