Gold shares are not moving ahead of POG and have been undeperforming the POG. Gold share investors that saw the beggining of the end of the bear market in gold - say at the beggining of 2002 - have not as yet made any substantial profits on their holdings. This is the reality. Whether or not gold shares take off in the future in response to the hopefully continuing rise in the POG, still remains to be seen.
