just out of interest, I drove over Haunted Stream on the way up to a mate's property over the weekend. He owns 300 acres surrounded by national park (lucky bugger). Even on this patch there is an old gold mine that the original owners worked, which in turn made them enough money to now be the biggest land holders in the area. They reckon there is hundreds of old workings like the ones exposed in the 07 fires. With new tecnology, you would hope that the gold which is obviously there and probably at depth, is found soon. Let's just hope that MNM are the ones that find it because it is out there somewhere. c'mon results... good luck holders
