Gold Ridge mine

Hi all

Now that I have time I have been reading the recent history of the Gold rode mine from the SMB ASX releases.
I hope PM has a definite plan to deal with the issues that are affecting the site. This is from December 2014 so they may have been resolved?

There are an urgent outstanding problem with the tailings storage facility that the Solomon government won't let them fix. SBM offered a $A1 fix towards the problem.

Loss of bridge access across Tinahulu River on the public road.
Continued presence of large numbers of illegal miners in the pit
After withdrawal of SBM staff - widespread vandalism and destruction of plant and facility extended to the water treatment plant (They had just fixed it) and pumping station making it inoperable. Earth moving equipment for improved spillway also extensively damaged and rendered inoperable.

While they have been listed under challenges, it good to see how FNT will deal and get the project up and running. Maybe it will be addressed in tomorrows talk. Obvious a long road ahead.
