gold rises strongly to aud1750

Well folks, gold has risen strongly to $1750 Aussie dollars.

Shouldn't our gold shares be soaring?

I remember being told numerous times that all that matters for Aussie gold miners is the Australian dollar gold price.

If gold rose strongly in US dollars US listed gold companies shares would rise in price.

So if gold rises strongly in Australian dollars I assume it's only fair that Aussie gold miners shares also rise in price.
