DEG Investment up 25% from last financial Report. Not sure why you have negative view of GOR investment in DEG ... Valuation of DEG investment for GOR must be up 25% since last 30 June financials from 1.09 in 1 July now 1.35 today .. Financial assets at fair value of $478.4 million (31 December 2023: $465.0 million) increased as a result of further acquisition of shares in De Grey Mining Limited and movements of the market price of multiple investments in listed entities That' s that roughly 25% x 478.4 million an increase of 119.5 Million ? sounds profitable to me.
With more upside to gold price to come ..I see some short positions (2.38% as at 18 Sept) in GOR getting squeezed.... and (2.20% ) in in DEG getting squeezed
