What a great day - I wrote some more $3 puts on the pull back early in the the day. LGL has certainly had a strong move. That late buying was impressive to watch - I could envisage the local mercedes dealer in oldtimer2's home town rubbing his hands together.

Yes Dhuy - after the market closes, you feel like you've been riding the bucking bull for 6 hours.

Oltimer2, what would you suggest is the best strategy for dealing with my covered calls at $3.25 for MAY? Normally I would just hold until expiry and get exercised. Thus exiting at $.3.25 plus premium - netting $3.31 total. My normal resistance to act would be that rolling up and out would result in a longer holding time frame with a further limit in upside based on a new covered call position written. I would be interested to here your thoughts as it appears you are quite experienced at using interesting option positions to gain exposure to stocks.
