    BG, not sure if that was tongue in cheek but there is no way that AUD gold would be 1200 if US gold was 2000.
    At some point ALL currencies will deflate against Au and in fact the AUD may deflate faster that the USD so 2K USD gold may equate to 3K AUD gold.
