I am following the same path as you do. Investing in advance-staged juniors.

However i have chosen projects that are smaller and require much less capex. I am very wary of dilution in this market and quite often these big deposits will need to turn to market for a big portion of funds.

Finding a project with a completed DFS/BFS enables debt finance that makes up most of the funding and avoid dilution.

My pick is MSR which as you might already know is owned 24% by PRU and has their management on board. DFS numbers are outstanding 96% IRR, 32m capex and 411$average cash cost. Aiming to produce early 2014.

Start small self fund is probably the best way in this market.
