Where is that price data in your post? I've always wanted to know how companies other than Homestake fared.

Do you have any theory as to why Homestake mining prospered so spectacularly during a deflationary depression whereas, apparently from your post, no others did? Why did they not also flourish when their product's price was not only fixed but revalued upward in a context of falling prices and wages?

Have you eliminated the possibility of debt deflation morphing through money creation into an inflationary depression, with a late 70's to mid 80's type gold and silver stocks bull?
