Heya Tom, no need to call out being a newbie, your money is as good as anyone else's which makes us all even. That's correct we need .010 ave to make buying at .008 sensible. So depending on how the week unfolds it makes for sense for existing holders to participate in SPP as opposed to buying more .008s. However for non-holders and purely based on the sheer volume of sales at .008.....it's pretty good buying imo. I called out my buys at .008 and got no issues fighting over a pip when the prize is potentially much higher, multi-bag higher. Good luck to your chosen investments.
