what did people think about the latest push from the World Bank to set up a new world reserve currency basket that would include physical gold? I must say, the idea that countries like China, with about 1.5% of their reserves in gold, having to go out and find 400 tonnes of the stuff to get up to comparable % holdings with many developed nations, is salivatory stuff for long term gold prospects. Mind you, maybe they (China, India, etc) will be able to get a deal by buying the stuff from Ireland, Greece and Portugal!
