Two things grabbing my attention today:

1. This 5-day chart:

Gold stocks are moving higher against the very negative market backdrop in the last week. This may also be pointing to gold moving higher again, as gold stocks often lead the metal higher (gold usually lags gold equities rallies for around 2-6 weeks before confirming a bullish move)

2. Blackrock group is buying gold stocks again (see todays MML ann). They have been very negative on the miners in the last 2 years, but now seen to be buyers again. Keep an eye out to see who else they've been buying.
