gold stocks hammered ..but igr in perspective , page-5

Yep ....Comparisons on the upside are relative , Rabbitoh.....
I didn't duck that issue ...but this was not intended to be a comparative post on fundamentals , as each company has wide differences .
Just making the observation , that IGR was in the same lift with a swag of goldies , that had the DOWN button pushed , stopping lower floors .
I guess SAR ( Saracen ) might be the best of reasonable comparisons to Igr , in terms of production start up time frames .
Sar --Dec 2011 high 97.5 c Currently 61.5 C
Igr -- Dec 2011 high 64c Currently 52c
Intention isn't to debate the merits of gold stocks per se ( each to his or her own , for their favourite reasons ) ...but as you know , all us "gold prisoners " are forever on trial --we are either on remand ( price going nowhere), we break out and run free for a while , or are recaptured to do more time in the slammer .
Such is the life of a gold devotee !!!
However ..if you sense that "we" might be mounting a fresh charge at new gold highs SOMETIME during 2012 ( ALF FIELD is worth reading ) , then the hope is quality gold stocks will all rise , just as they have collectively fallen .
Fundamentals/ corporate action ...IGR is right up there ,and it will have its day in the sun , like many others in this quality pack.
