    Dave,

    Although the AUD obviously has a moderating effect on the home producers there does not seem to be a significant difference in movement between these and those producing overseas. ( At least until now) These of course would have all the USD gain in POG.

    As I see it the rise in POG is primarily useful in attracting the attention of potential new investors. Some Aussie producers may benefit directly from the increase,some may not because of 'in place' forward selling.


    CUL in reality, even if it had a good strike, may not benefit directly from even an extended gold bull run.

    The price could be very different at production .

    But CUL certainly does and will benefit from the exposure that gold is getting. That is true of quite a few producers and explorers at present.

    In other words the sentiment is increasingly with gold.

    That is often more important than good fundamentals.
