The $64 question.
I had other things on my mind in the early '70s when Nixon was beaten to a pulp by the hedge funds and deGaulle and was forced to drop gold convertability of $US. I think there are many similarities with gold today but I can't be sure.
If there is a historian out there, or someone who cared at the time I would love to read about it.
