Re lattes, having been a Sydney resident in an earlier life Ridgie's revelation that a decent coffee on the North Shore has now moved into the four figure relmn was of little surprise to me. I've always said that despite Melbournes shortcommings (such as Geoff Kennett not buying Sdyney Harbour and shifting it down here whilst he had the chance) Melbourne food and coffee is infinitely better and substantially cheaper than the Harbour City. (excepting Caffe Luca at the Cross for the coffee but then I have Brunswick St within a short walk).

That said, I still haven't been able to cajole Grant into a lunch yet! LOL!
