I remember a few years ago goldbugs opined that on a particular date, the Chinese were going to reveal how much gold they really had in Shanghai, because the official figures were a 'cover-up'.
It was going to send shock waves around the world, crash the USD, send the yuan through the roof and gold, of course, would blast off to another solar system.
As usual, when that date arrived......nothing happened.
