basically i think they had a few disasters (i heard a wall collapse at mine site?) and poorly managed production for a bit, only late last year ASIC was over $2000 an oz.. accumulated a lot of debt and a lot of people lost huge sums of money, i think last CR was at 68 cents...

They have well and truly turned the corner now have a big resource and if can keep AISC as low as it is or lower they will pay existing debt off before the end of the year and be making big bucks.

There was a recent offer of entitlement @4 cents i think a lot of existing holders that were down big time bought in and would be happy to off load a bundle at these prices for 35 odd % so hence sitting stable on big volume for a while.

Also i believe Jan profit was 3 mil not one mil.. 6k x 500 = 3 mil
