You know that 'red hearts' as you call them are posters which have been followed by a lot of posters and recieved a lot of good feedback for their posting style prior to recieving a heart. They are the most followed people on Hotcopper, thats why they have the heart, so if that were true what you're saying then you're pretty much accusing them of becoming corrupt after the fact which to me is an interesting position to take.
