Alex, here is the HUI/Gold ratio for the last 6 months.
At the height of the GFC, in October 2008, I beleive the HUI/Gold ratio fell to around 0.22 but it was only there for a short time (a week or so) before gradually increasing up to 0.42 at the end of 2011.
