People don't care about fiat risk anymore, they want continued lifestyles. Gold has had a great run but it couldn't get through 1,800 with all the stars aligned. Stocks are cheap in terms of gold. Bankers happy to use their free money channels to buy up stocks and generate growth.
Swings and round abouts, it's been stocks turn since gold peaked, time to profit there for a few years IMO
