    Hi SP,

I know the answer to this one...do I get a prize for knowing that the US government will fiddle their figures by not reporting the cancellation of $6 billion of aircraft sales to Air Canada in the forthcoming trade deficit numbers.

The financial talking heads will spin a perception that the US economy is motoring on all cylinders and the dollar will rally in the short term.

I track the US economic data on a daily basis and input the announcements together with the REVISIONS to the preceding period in a spreadhseet.

It never seizes to amaze me how much the preceding data gets revised (and usually negatively) but, of course, never gets talked about as commentators and the general public, are so focused on the hear and now.

They fail to look back at the data and see that they are being hod-winked with mis-reporting at the time of the original announcement.

We live in a "I want it NOW...trade everything, all the time society".

    Thanks for your post.
