I am buying BSG tommorrow but not for it's gold interests rather its Mexican Silver Project which has been producing good drill results. As Sailorgirl mentioned in an earlier post Gold in $A has not been doing much however Silver appears to have just entered a bull market and has been putting in strong performances vs the $A as well as the US. Silvers fundamentals appear to be far superior to gold as well, ie it has run a supply deficit for the last 13 years, the Gold to silver ratio is currently around 65-1 historically this ratio has been around 16-1. If you are looking for a gold play at the moment I would go with DRD as this companies share price was hit hard by the appreciation of the rand which caused the rand gold price to fall, this stock has just broken out during the last week, I feel this one has the potential to double in a short period of time.
