Isnt the reason for Indias inerest rate hike (inflation) bullish for gold. Once the initial panic dies down you would think that rate moves such as this should begin to highlight to people the possibility of impending widespread spiralling high inflation.
With high unemployment, huge worldwide debts, quantative easing, inflationary pressures mounting, surely this bodes well for gold prices.
If the world governments had a clear plan to return certainty and confidence to the masses and we were seeing unemployment being reigned in, debts being repaid without huge QE, benign inflation, etc etc, then I would start to worry about gold.
