"Who wins?"

I am not sure that anyone wins out of this. I am not convinced that it will have much of a tangible impact of any sort, except in the minds of the market.

The ECB is wiggling the only leaver that it has, but at the zero interest boundary it doesn't work very well. Actually printing some money that goes into circulation might do some good, but that is not how QE works.

This shouldn't have any impact on the price of gold.
