just when you think you have it sorted the market will make a monkey out of you. DXY looks to have fallen overnight back toward 93 (maybe a retest before it shoots higher). The 10 Year yield popped to 1.4 and change. so, on the face of it the shift in gold price is a yield and risk on selling story with the DOW up 600 pts odd. At the end of the day we are trying to guess short term moves by assessing the net effect of a large number of variables. it’s an impossible task at the best of times. So, if you have the luxury of time, looking through short term noise at longer terms fundamentals offers a more reliable basis for decision making.
