My rationale is for 'he' is based on observed language and content of posts for a couple of years. Language indicates male (subjective) and content is consistent regarding pilot and NZ. Most HC users are male so that tilts probability significantly too. Unless it's a professional operative like you're suggesting I'd say most people would find it difficult to lie for that long without slipping up. Re 15 years, people have all sorts of weird hobbies that chew time, moot point imo.
