You seem to take issue with my use of "tighter". Lets roll with that and keep in mind that we're on a casual social media forum and not a court of law.
Tighter. Before each country could unlink ties to Gold and print their own currency. After, they could not do this as the US was the only country that could print. And their currency was tied to Gold.
