Powell hasn't actually done anything about raising interest rates. He's done some talking, and the Fed may or may not raise rates in March.

Gold investors have seen it all since the GFC, but the overall trend has always been up. Explorers still get rewarded for new discoveries, producers still pay healthy dividends.

I am cheering for a crash Joe, I have plenty of cash parked for bargain hunting. A reset of asset prices is a great thing in my book, should have happened years ago. If you have a malignant growth you get it cut out and dealt with, you don't just let it grow and grow and hope for the best. Central banks aren't ensuring stability, they are the engineers of this terrible situation. The asset bubbles can only be sustained by financial repression: it's not fair, it's not equitable, it's not what anyone voted for, and it's a complete betrayal of most people outside the 1%. Sorry if you don't agree Joe, people are allowed their own opinions and plenty of people share mine. We need to get back to sound money and central banks need to stop their massive intervention and let markets function again, let assets be priced as to their merits rather than how much stimulus is being pumped in.

Almost the same as POG at $1800 when US dollar index at 97.

USD index was below 90 not that long ago
